Cascella Museum: A collection of more than 500 pictures, sculptures, illustrations and ceramics collected by one family, including many masterpieces.
Musuem of the People of Abruzzo. An exhibition of historic costume from Abruzzo, regional arts and crafts, including ceramics from Castelli, domestic objects and farming tools. The museum takes us from pre-historic times, to early Italian objects – including a bronze helmet, and a collection of Roman artifacts.
Corso Manthonč: The historic heart of Pescara. Along the narrow streets you will find many restaurants, nightclubs, shops, and cafes. This is the meeting place for the young people of Pescara.
International Festival of Cinema “Ennio Flaiano”. June sees this festival of independent cinema.
Festival of Sant’Andrea: During July this procession takes place by the sea, with fireworks over the marina.
Pescara Jazz: During July, this festival brings together international jazz players, with concerts and events in venues throughout the city.
Silvi Marina is one of the most active seaside areas of the region, joined to Pescara via the waterfront, a pinewood and a major road. It is certainly worth visiting.
